It was L.E. Reutenauer's passion for fine wine that led him to promoting Cahors Wines throughout the world.

In 1945, he was the first person to fully realize that " Superiour Quality Table Wine " belonged on the best tables. L.E. Reutenauer's commitment to his project culminated in the AOC (Registered Trademark Classification) of the Cahors Wines in the 1970s.

  "A strong and savory liquor"
Clément Marot

This noble wine, already appreciated by the Romans, has had a truly unique history.
The poet Clément Marot, King Edward III of England, Francis I and The Tsar Peter the Great have all chosen this generous wine to honor their guests.

Today, after a professional life consecrated to quality and the promotion of Cahors Wine, L.E. Reutenauer decided to pass his precious heritage on to the Pieron family of the Cahors region that is known to be earnest and tenacious -- The key to exceptional commercial success.
Olivier Pieron is passionately dedicated to growing, developing, and commercializing Cahors Wine, maintaining the Tradition of Quality and the fame surrounding this historic label.
Owners of the Chateau de Bovila and the Chateau de Rouffiac,
Olivier PIERON and his team work very hard perfecting the quality of their different wines…

"Alcohol is more enjoyable if consumed in moderation."
